This position is responsible for the retrieval and control of Raw Material for the daily line functions in manufacturing.
Daily cleaning of kitting areas including removal of cardboard and trash.
And any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. (Other duties may be assigned).
- Pull raw material from the warehouse for manufacturing.
- Empty large trash and cardboard bins.
- Sweep floors to maintain proper housekeeping requirement.
- Pull pallets to lines from staging area.
- Attends training sessions as directed.
- Helps train production operators as directed.

Ability to operate a manual pallet jack to move inventory throughout the kitting processes.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- One or more years of warehouse and manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to supervisor, management and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to complete basic math calculations. Convert English units of measure to metric.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense when carrying out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision. Accuracy, completeness and attention to detail are essential.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe employee is often required to stand and reach with hands and arms and lifts and/or moves up to 30 pounds. Employee is required to meet with other personnel in other areas of the building. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee is required to operate all types of material handling equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENTA person in this job will occasionally be exposed to moderate to occasionally loud noise and will work near moving equipment.
