Hours:
7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday (occasional overtime & Saturdays)
Pay: $13.00/hr + Benefits after 90 days
ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, has a full-time opening for a Production Test Operator. This position will be using testing equipment to test, image and repair computer products, such as printers, handheld devices and pin pads. Our ideal candidate has basic knowledge of electronics and previous experience repairing and/or assembling computer hardware or electronics in a high volume production environment.
Formal experience is not required. If you are a computer geek/tech junkie - you will be awesome at this job!
Job Duties
- Performs basic testing on electronic products
- Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information needed and enters it into our tracking software
- Configures product to customer specification
- Visually inspects product for damage
- Unpacks, cleans, re-labels and re-packages product in relation to above activities
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Education/Training
- High school diploma or GED preferred and/or
- 6+ months related experience (electronics or other mechanical repair)
Other Skills
- Good attention to detail and the ability to handle small parts
- High school level math, reading and writing skills desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be flexible, adaptable and able to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
