Unitizer Operator

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Unitizer Operator to support our corrugated packaging production team. In this on-site role, you will set up, operate, and monitor unitizer equipment to safely bundle finished products according to customer and plant specifications. Responsibilities include equipment adjustments, basic troubleshooting, quality inspection, accurate labeling, and recording production data. You will follow strict safety and housekeeping standards while collaborating with teammates to meet daily production goals in a stable, growth-oriented manufacturing environment focused on innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor unitizer equipment to bundle and secure corrugated products safely and efficiently
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot unitizer machinery to meet production specifications
• Inspect finished bundles for quality, accuracy, and proper labeling
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and housekeeping standards in the production area
• Record production data, downtime, and material usage in logs or systems
• Communicate issues with maintenance and supervisors to minimize downtime
• Assist with material handling, staging, and finished goods organization
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals
