POSITION:
Production Labor Coordinator
- Third Shift
Position Summary
The Production Labor Coordinator supports production operations with administrations tasks in staffing, scheduling, training, and work coordination. Will supervise production staff and may assist with workforce movements and training, this position is administrative. All personnel will report the supervisor. Primary communicator for pass-down information to work-teams.
Essential Functions
- Maintain standard staffing roster (by line, by role, by shift) in coordination with Production, Planning and HR.
- Assist with the coordination of training & onboarding schedules for new Line Support staff with various functions.
- Assist Production Managers with Kronos Training / Labor Tracking.
- Review line assignments in Kronos, report errors to supervisor.
- Coordinate staff scheduling/movements for monthly Alchemy Training.
- Reward/recognize Employees.
- Coordinate rework movements & planning with Ops and Warehouse staff.
- Communicate schedules to production / post schedules for staff members.
- Escalate any scheduling or staffing issues to Production, Planning & HR.
- Attend & participate in daily MDI meetings.
- Coordinate production reports. Develop new reports as required.
- Report out daily labor stats at MDI meetings.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all EHS and PPE requirements.
- Assist new employees with PPE needs as required.
- Identify and elevate any safety concerns.
- Assist Supervisors with coordinate of drills and evacuations as required.
- Track / coordinate training of OPLs.
- Document Control:
Verify correct documents in use. - Identify and elevate Quality concerns if necessary.
- Connect team members questions to appropriate function.
- Lead Production Team Meetings.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education/Experience)
- 2+ years working in Manufacturing Plant.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and track a large volume of information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and organized.

FLSA Designation
:
This position is a Salaried Exempt and not eligible for overtime.
