Marketing Account Executive

Role Description

As a Marketing Account Executive, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients.

• Identify and prospect potential clients throughout El Paso and surrounding areas.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, email, Linked In, community events, and local business visits.
• Schedule discovery meetings with business owners and decision-makers.
• Understand each client's business goals and marketing challenges.
• Present Square Communications' marketing services and customized solutions.
• Prepare proposals and pricing with the internal marketing team.
• Follow up consistently with leads throughout the sales process.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and identify upsell opportunities.
• Coordinate a smooth transition from sales to the marketing team after onboarding.
• Represent Square Marketing Agency at networking events, business expos, and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation abilities, and active listening.
• Proficiency in Account Management, with experience handling multiple clients, coordinating campaigns, and maintaining organized project workflows.
• Sales and Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and supporting the closing of new business.
• Knowledge of marketing and advertising fundamentals, ideally within digital, television, or integrated campaigns.
• Ability to work on-site in El Paso, TX, collaborate cross-functionally, and adapt to a fast-paced agency environment.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, or account management preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable speaking with business owners and executives.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
