Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience across various medical specialties. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to the needs of patients. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results to guide clinical decisions.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and injections, as necessary.
- Provide acute pain management and perform procedures such as suturing and catheterization.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Manage patients in various settings including outpatient clinics, urgent care, and inpatient facilities.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications.
- Strong clinical skills in areas such as internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, or emergency medicine.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, CPT/ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with specialized cardiovascular treatments is required. Further familiarity with aesthetic treatments such as botulinum toxin treatment, esthetic laser treatment, dermal fillers would be an added bonus but not required.
- Critical care experience or experience working in Level I/II trauma centers is advantageous but not required
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and pain management techniques is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children and seniors.
