Full Time, Nights. This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. The role provides direct clinical patient care. The RN will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per‑shift basis, and at the unit level. The RN is responsible for supervising staff to which appropriate care is delegated and for ensuring high‑quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource utilization.

• The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients.
• The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
• The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.
• Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
• Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster.
• Knows the hospital’s emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.

• Required:
  
  Must have 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
• Preferred:
  Recent acute care experience.

• Required:
  
  Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law or regulation in the state of practice or policy; AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.
