Role:  Locum Tenens CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Per Diem)

Start Date:

March 23, 2026

Shifts per Week:  3 (per diem schedule)

Shift Duration:  10- or 12-hour shifts

Patient Encounters per

Shift:  Approximately 10

Setting:  Hospital / surgical center — team-based perioperative care model

Estimated Weekly Pay:  $3,740 – $4,360 (locum CRNA pay range)

Job Requirements

Active, unrestricted CRNA license in the state of practice (or ability to obtain)

Advanced practice certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Minimum 1 year of clinical CRNA experience required

Experience providing general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients

Regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia skills preferred

Board eligible or board certified accepted (board certification not required)

Locum providers must not be local to El Paso due to existing PRN coverage

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality general anesthesia across a range of surgical specialties: orthopedics, general surgery, pediatrics, plastics, ENT, and gynecology

Provide perioperative anesthesia management and monitoring for ~10 patient encounters per shift

Administer spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia when indicated (preferred)

Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative nursing staff in a team-based care model

Adhere to patient safety protocols, anesthesia best practices, and facility policies

No rounding required
