This position requires availability for the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with on‑call duties one day per week and two weekends per schedule.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in L&D, including experience with c‑section deliveries and postpartum care. The role will involve providing high‑quality care to new mothers and infants.
Responsibilities- Manage labor and delivery cases, supporting natural deliveries and performing necessary surgical interventions.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor, including use of fetal monitoring equipment.
- Provide immediate postpartum care and facilitate bonding between mother and child.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Current RN license.
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required.
- Minimum of specific years experience in Labor and Delivery, with OR experience for c‑sections preferred.
