Registered Nurse (RN)
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to Texas Board of Nursing.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute psychiatric setting, following evidence‑based treatment protocols and ensuring collaborative teamwork to meet patient needs.
Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
- Licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
- Must pass a medication administration exam and hold current CPR certification.
- Successful completion of Handle With Care orientation including physical hold and verbal de‑escalation.
