Overview

Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion RN Supervisor (RN) to join our team. This full‑time, Monday to Friday position at the Joe Battle, El Paso, TX location requires 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. hours with no weekend, on‑call, or major holiday coverage.

As an Infusion RN Supervisor, you will coordinate all activities related to nursing functions and patient care, oversee clinical operations, ensure adequate staffing, monitor quality metrics, develop staff, and mentor nursing staff. You will support Texas Oncology’s mission of delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based cancer care.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Oversight:
    Oversees the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
  • Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics and maintain effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs within budget.
  • Ensure clinical operations and practice consistent with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
  • Staff Development:
    Coordinate, implement, and assist with staff training, in‑services, and internal developmental programs for nursing staff; assist with annual performance evaluations; serve as mentor/preceptor and provide day‑to‑day guidance to less experienced nurses.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
  • Valid RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
  • Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years in oncology.
  • 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Current or pending oncology certification preferred.
