Infusion RN Supervisor-Joe Battle, El Paso, Tx

Overview

Full-time Monday‑Friday position with no weekends, call, or major holidays. Hours are 8:00a‑5:00p, Monday through Friday. The role is located in El Paso, Tx and reports to Joe Battle.

• Oversee clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities.
• Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics and maintain effective nursing staff coverage while controlling costs.
• Maintain operational consistency with organizational objectives and monitor patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
• Coordinate, implement, and assist with staff training, in‑services, and internal developmental programs.
• Assist with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff.
• Serve as mentor/preceptor and provide day‑to‑day guidance to less experienced nurses.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Active RN license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least 3 years in oncology.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Current or pending oncology certification preferred.

Traditional office environment. Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology clinic environment. Large percent of time spent performing computer‑based work. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing, walking for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 40 lb, and normal corrected vision and hearing.
