Registered Nurse – Urgent Care Clinic – Zaragoza – El Paso, TX 79938 – Full Time – Day Shift
Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN directs and coordinates all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. The RN collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Minimum Experience- Full Time – No experience required.
- Part‑time, PRN, Contract, and Travelers – at least one year of experience required.
- Float Pool, Transport, Nurse Imaging, and Multispecialty Center – at least one year of experience required regardless of work status.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure.
Certification RequirementsAll RN positions require RN, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Additional department‑specific certifications and timelines are as follows:
- PICU – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE, APHON, TNCC, ENPC within 18 months.
- Pediatrics – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- IMCU – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- Hematology/Oncology – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- NICU – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- Perioperative Services – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- Emergency Department – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- Float Pool – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- Transport – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- Nurse Imaging – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
- Multispecialty Center – RN, BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; NRP within 12 months; STABLE within 18 months.
Associate Degree in Nursing.
Core Skills- Critical thinking and problem‑solving.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Competence in computer documentation.
- Comprehension of English for safety instructions.
