Job Description:
Assists Director of Case Management, providing oversight, guidance and leadership to Case Managers. Assists in development of services, policies, procedures, resource plans and coordinates department activities related to and integrating case management activities. Collects and analyzes data and implements departmental or inter-departmental performance improvement activities to improve the organization's efficiency. Oversees those who provide direct case management services to specific patient populations providing interventions to patients/families of varying ages with age related needs.

4. Knowledgeable of community resources.
5. Develops effective working relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary team.

8. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with ability to convey understanding progress of complex issues.
9. Leadership and training skills. 10. Strong organizational and time management skills. 11. Working knowledge/experience in managed care and payor issues. 12. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, culturally sensitive.
Required Experience:
Work Experience:
Three years of supervisory/management experience required. Three years direct patient care experience in a hospital/healthcare setting. Two years previous experience as a Case Manager or Utilization Reviewer required. License/Registration/Certification:
Current Texas or compact RN license to practice in the State of Texas. Certification as a Case Manager (CCM) or American Case Management certification (ACM) preferred. Education and Training:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
