- Required Qualifications:
Texas RN license, NRP certification, BLS certification, no call required, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and ability to work the specified shift. - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with vapotherm and neonatal procedures. - Unit Profile:
- Location:
El Paso, Texas - Bed Count: 10 beds, with 1 procedure room, 2 operating rooms, and 4 triage bays
- Staff: 9 employees on the unit, including day and night nurses, with staffing ratios of 1:3 and 1:1 for vapotherm
- Equipment:
Panda warmers, cribs, All NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) equipment, breastpumps (hospital grade) - EMR System:
Meditch/CPN - Typical procedures performed:
Apgar assessments, Ballard assessments, medication administration, vapotherm management - Dress Code:
Galaxy Blue scrub tops and bottoms - Unit Policies:

Stable, experienced staff; the unit hosts annual events such as summer picnics for Mother/Baby, L&D, and Neonatal teams.
