The Assistant Director oversees the day‑to‑day operation of the department. This includes assistance with supervision of all personnel, ordering of supplies and equipment, and managing the schedules.
Excellent organization and communication skills; able to work well in a fast‑paced environment; able to handle multiple priorities at one time; able to supervise multiple areas.
EducationRequired:
Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's). Master's degree in Nursing or related field required (health administration, business, public health, or management).
Required:
2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full‑time charge nurse/related position.
Required:
Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. AHA BLS.
