Clinical Nurse Coordinator
Responsible for ensuring high quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. Works with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care.
Responsibilities- Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
- Participates in assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create a collaborative environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Supports a patient‑first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
- Supports the facility’s engagement efforts by operationalizing nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Assists with staff scheduling and manages practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
- Supports inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or equivalent, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nursing or Trauma Nursing Core Course, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- No travel required.
- Minimum 1 year experience required.
