Clinical Nurse Coordinator

Responsible for ensuring high quality, patient‑centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. Works with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care.

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Participates in assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create a collaborative environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient‑first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports the facility’s engagement efforts by operationalizing nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
• Supports inventory control and assists with managing supplies and equipment.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support or equivalent, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Trauma Care for Nursing or Trauma Nursing Core Course, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required.
• Minimum 1 year experience required.
