Team Health is offering a lead acute care or pediatric nurse practitioner position at El Paso Children’s Hospital’s Emergency Department in El Paso, Texas. The ED provides care for the full spectrum of pediatric emergencies with board‑certified pediatric specialists.

About El Paso Children’s Hospital ED

• Annual patient volume of 27,000
• 13‑bed ED
• EMR:
  Cerner
• 24‑hour physician coverage (12‑hour shifts)
• 12‑to‑24 hours of APC coverage

Position Requirements

• Board‑certified acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP or AGACNP) through ANCC or AACN, or board‑certified pediatric primary care nurse practitioner (PPCNP) through ANCC
• Prefer 2 + years in pediatrics
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of APCs
• Current ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Texas medical license and DEA, or ability to obtain prior to start date
