The LPDS Market A-fib/Watchmen Coordinator will handle planning, developing, and implementing A‑fib/Watchmen (LAAO) program operations to include NCDR and all Cardiovascular registries. The A‑fib/Watchmen (LAAO) Coordinator coordinates patient care between patients, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team. This position handles collecting and evaluating information to facilitate care and assuring evidence‑based practice, education, and efficient utilization. A‑fib/Watchmen (LAAO) Coordinator assures the continuity of A‑fib/Watchmen (LAAO) evaluation and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) care.

Responsible for the overall coordination of all CVS patients to improve outcomes for the A‑fib/Watchmen (LAAO) patient population and ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies.

Qualifications Required Licensure / Certifications
  • Basic (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Registered Nurse
Required Education / Experience
  • Minimum of Diploma in Nursing required
  • Minimum 3 years of Critical Care experience required
Preferred Education, Licensure, Certification, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • EP/Cath or ED/ICU experience preferred
