Summary
Perform Nursing Assistant duties under the direct training of a Registered Nurse.
Skills- Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of nursing assistant.
- Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
One Year Of Experience As a Nursing Assistant Preferred.
License/Registration/Certification- Current Texas Certified Nursing Assistant required.
- Current CPR training required.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Completion Of One Of The Following- Completion of a formal Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or equivalent training program; or
- Completion of a Fundamental Nursing Registered Nurse training program; or
- Graduate from an international Registered Nurse equivalent program.
