Certified Wound Care Clinician, Nurse

Responsibilities

• Working with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions
• Monitoring proper application and utilization of wound care products
• Understanding Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
• Educating facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements
• Ordering wound care products through our internal system “Fast Care” for the residents to receive their products
• Supporting facilities wound care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of the wound care products coverage guidelines

• Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR-L, DPM or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire
• Must have exemplary customer service skills
• Must be business savvy, sales‑minded
• Must be a self‑starter and work independently
• Must be hard‑working and motivated
• Must be organized and detail‑oriented
• Must live in the area designated and be willing to travel on a daily basis

Demonstrates expertise in wound care assessments and treatment, along with a strong understanding of Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines. Capable of educating facility staff on compliance and effectively managing wound care product orders.
