Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - 5 North Med Surg Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night Shift)
Weekends:
Every other weekend
Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) on the 5 North Med Surg Unit. This unit is committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The LVN will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Assist with daily living activities and patient mobility.
- Conduct routine assessments and maintain patient records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Current LVN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Critical thinking skills are essential; experience in Med Surg preferred.
- Preferred skills include ACLS, IV skills, and experience in ortho and kidney transplant care.
- Familiarity with central lines and Foley management is advantageous.
