Contract RN - Pediatric ICU (PICU) - 13 Weeks
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with no on-call requirements. Must be available for 4 weekend shifts per month.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Pediatric ICU for a dynamic and growing unit. This unit caters to a diverse range of pediatric care needs, from managing routine conditions to providing critical care for patients in severe medical distress.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Perform specialized procedures including lumbar punctures, intubations, and chest tube placements.
- Participate actively in patient care planning and family education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- CPR/BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Experience in Pediatric and Pediatric ICU nursing.
