Duties
Perform duties of Head Nurse, plan, coordinate, and collaborate with other health care team members, regarding the activities required to meet the patient's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
Implement nursing care based on desired patient outcomes, customer satisfaction and evidence-based practice.
Screen patient charts and perform initial patient assessment prior to admission.
Educate patients about when to seek medical/nursing intervention.
Accept consults for the education of patients in the outpatient setting.
Perform the following supervisory responsibilities over a subordinate staff which may consist of vocational nurses and/or nursing assistants.
