LVN Rehabilitation

Join Del Sol Medical Center as an Inpatient Rehabilitation Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN). In this role, you will help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence after illness, injury, or extended hospital stays, with average stays of two to three weeks. You will be part of a dynamic rehabilitation team committed to caring for and improving lives each day.

• Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, and report changes promptly.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to support therapy goals and promote independence.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status to detect changes and respond quickly.
• Document progress and functional ability to guide care planning and team coordination.
• Educate and support patients and families about recovery milestones, safety, and self‑care techniques.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and physicians to deliver personalized, high‑quality care.

• Completion of LVN program.
• LVN license in the state of Texas or Compact State.
• Most units prefer experienced LVNs with at least 1‑2 years but are open to New Grad LVNs.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• LPN/LVN licensed practical or vocational nurse.
• High School Graduate / GED.

This position is based at Del Sol Medical Center; no travel is required.
