Role Overview
The RN Cardiac Cath Lab provides direct patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing clinical activities to ensure high-quality, safe, and cost-effective nursing services.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver patient care aligned with medical protocols and standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.
- Supervise staff, delegate tasks appropriately, and support the Chief Nursing Officer in maintaining nursing competency and resource management.
- Administer medications safely and timely, ensuring adherence to hospital policies.
- Fulfill all hospital incident command responsibilities during emergencies, understanding emergency codes and procedures.
- Ensure optimal patient discharge planning and care integration.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school;
Bachelor's or Master's preferred. - Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, with recent acute care experience preferred.
- Current licensure and certifications including AHA BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP if applicable.
Full-time, dayshift position requiring clinical expertise in cardiac catheterization, emergency preparedness, and team supervision.
