Nurse, Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. The RN collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

The RN supports the organization’s vision and mission. The RN utilizes knowledge of patient’s developmental age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient and family-centered care. The RN contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

• Full Time – None Required.
• Part Time, PRN, Contract, and Travelers – at least one year experience require.
• Float Pool, Transport, Nurse Imaging, and Multispecialty Center (regardless of work status) – at least one year experience.

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact Licensure.

Associate Degree in Nursing required, bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
