Quality Control Technician

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our TEAM! As the Quality Control Technician, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as performing quality check, inspecting product samples and auditing glaze line operations.

Sunday – Tuesday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM;
Wednesday 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Evaluates quality of tile during manufacturing process to ensure specifications are met.

• Performs quality checks on work in progress for thickness, size, gloss, color, etc.
• Inspects product samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Audits glaze line operations to ensure applicators are performing efficiently.
• Documents test results.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of manufacturing/production experience. Quality control experience preferred.

• Good listening skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to read and write in English.
