Description

Quality Technician 1 is responsible for inspecting and testing manufacturing processes and products to ensure product quality. The technician uses various inspection and test equipment and methods, ensures proper procedures are followed, and documents everything to maintain quality and record traceability. The technician also helps ensure nonconforming product is identified and removed from production until it can be dispositioned.

Key

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Monitor production processing via random QA audits
  • Conduct necessary quality inspections using proper equipment and techniques
  • Conduct statistical analysis on selected processes and report findings
  • Assist with problem solving – root cause analysis – corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results
  • Ensure incoming materials comply with required specifications
  • Ensure outgoing products comply with required specifications
  • Ensure production personnel follow proper procedures for ongoing production checks
  • Assist with training and instruction for production operators in QA measuring procedures
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures and work instructions
  • Audit and maintain compliance with required quality management system standards
  • Provide management with detailed quality reports as required – daily, weekly, monthly, etc.
  • Other duties as required by quality management
Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Experience enforcing SOP and product specifications
  • Knowledge in Excel
  • Strong mathematics skills
Education and Experience
  • High School Degree (preferred)
  • 1+ year of Quality Assurance experience (preferred)
Additional Information

Pay rate: $16.60/hr
