About the RoleThe Company is in search of a strategic and hands‑on Vice President of Food Safety & Quality to spearhead enterprise‑wide FSQA initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and enhancing food safety and quality systems across multiple manufacturing facilities and co‑packers, ensuring compliance with a range of industry standards. This executive leadership role demands a proactive approach to food safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, with a focus on driving performance and strengthening customer confidence.
The VP will also be instrumental in supporting product commercialization, overseeing audits, inspections, and risk mitigation, and leading high‑performing FSQA teams. Applicants for the Vice President of Food Safety & Quality position at the company should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in food safety and quality leadership within food manufacturing.
A strong background in USDA‑regulated and SQF‑certified environments is essential, as is experience with a variety of food products. The role requires extensive experience in managing audits, supplier quality, and co‑packer relationships, as well as a proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development and commercialization from a food safety and regulatory perspective, and experience in leading recalls, crisis management, and corrective action programs.
