Quality Control Chemist; Pharma - GC​/HPLC 1st Shift

Position: Quality Control Chemist (Pharma) - GC/HPLC | $26/hr | 1st Shift
Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist Quality Control to join their team. As a Specialist Quality Control, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality and safety standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Maintain and prepare quality reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.

+ Perform chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, finished goods, and stability products.

+ Maintain and implement efforts in housekeeping, safety programs, and laboratory safety protocols.

+ Operate laboratory equipment such as Gas Chromatography (GC) and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) with precision and adherence to procedures.

+ Maintain calibration programs for laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field with hands-on laboratory training.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.

+

Experience with USP, ISO, ASTM based chemical testing and strict adherence to documented procedures.

+ Knowledge of validation principles for chemical methods, including development and validation of new test methods.

+ Ability to interpret data, troubleshoot experiments, and maintain accurate laboratory records.
