Supervisor Custodial

General Summary

Assist the Project Manager in administering the Custodial program by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas of the job site.

• Develop and maintain employee work schedule.
• Ensure employee work schedule is covered with adequate staffing on a daily basis through Supervisors.
• Ensure Quality Control (QC) inspections are performed daily on all employees by the Supervisors.
• Review with QC to analyze trends and opportunities for improvement; report findings to Project Manager.
• Analyze government Quality Assurance (QA) inspections, assuring proper follow‑up and Corrective/Preventive Actions.
• Ensure that all employees receive adequate orientation training and track training documentation in employee’s file.
• Observe Supervisors daily by making rounds in their areas.
• Assist Supervisors in resolving any potential issues with employees and hospital staff.
• Perform job evaluations on Supervisors and submit to Director as required.
• Perform public relation rounds on units and establish positive relationships with key personnel.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

• Minimum of one (1) year of custodial supervisory experience.
• Must meet or exceed comparable industry certification (IEHA, etc.) training. All certifications shall be maintained active and current throughout the term of the contract.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.
• Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Be able to walk extended period of time, bend, kneel, push, pull, and stretch as required.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
