Job Description
As a Sr Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes. You will leverage your expertise to drive quality improvements, support manufacturing excellence, and contribute to customer satisfaction through rigorous quality assurance practices.
You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Juarez, Chihuahua location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact product reliability and customer trust by implementing quality control measures, leading root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities- Lead and support quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with Honeywell and industry quality standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quality metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Participate in audits and ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Establishes product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures according to ISO
9001. - Maintain the ISO
9001 Certification, host the external audits and lead the internal audits.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering roles within manufacturing environments.
- Advanced English.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Certification as Internal Auditor ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards applicable to the industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
WE VALUE
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar are a plus.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
