Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
• Assist customers, set up, maintain and clean the seafood display cases.
• Clean, fill and rotate the seafood displays.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions include lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and other physical requirements. Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
