We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and assists customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. It involves working with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The final pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to understand needs and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and merchandise displayed.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiables per policies and procedures.
• Answer calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Complete required training and perform other related duties as assigned.

• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform duties for extended periods; standing, stooping, walking, climbing, etc., per law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers on exterior areas or retrieve products stored externally.
• Minimum Age: 18;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.
