Salary and Commission
$11.00 to $13.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process! Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.56 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business, greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role involves jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
- Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Successfully completes assigned training.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic math calculation proficiency.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants receive more details during the interview process.
