Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team!
Salary: $13.00 to $17.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.21 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

Position Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for day-to-day store operations, promoting a positive/productive environment, partnering with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. This position sets the tone for a customer-centric environment.
Alongside the Store Manager, this role analyzes store financial statements to ensure goals are met, participates in asset protection, and supports business development and customer acquisition. This role involves working with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
This position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a store-performance bonus. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
ResponsibilitiesThis is a representative list of general duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control and secure customer loans.
- Administer store processes: inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned self-development tasks and training.
- Communicate store mission and profit objectives clearly to employees.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products stored externally.
- Minimum Age: 18
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; 40+ hours per week; hours based on business needs.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Analytical skills; cash handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong work ethic and business sense.

Commission Plan Information
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on gross profit of personal performance. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
