Position: (USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts safely according to company standards and regulations.
  • Safely pick, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
  • Complete work assignments, prioritizing tasks using available policies and data.
  • Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners to meet priorities and deadlines.
  • Identify and recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to change and learn from feedback.
  • Receive, organize, and manage merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Utilize inventory flow processes to track, sort, stage, and deliver merchandise.
  • Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation, ensuring proper zoning, stocking, and rotating of merchandise.
  • Remove damaged or out‑of‑date goods and set up cleaning and organizing displays.
  • Ensure proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise while processing defective merchandise.
  • Follow sanitation and food safety policies and monitor the area for shrink, security, and safety risks.
  • Assist with club pickup orders, ensuring products are selected and staged per policy and audited for accuracy.
  • Track goods, maintain exactly on‑hand levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Report poor inventory practices and low on‑hand levels in assigned areas.
  • Use inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Proactively identify customers who need help and engage them with technology services.
  • Model and support Walmart values, behaving with integrity, humility, honesty, fairness, and transparency.
  • Show respect for individuality, embracing differences and fostering a welcoming culture of belonging.
  • Build strong relationships, communicate with impact, and mentor others.
  • Make decisions based on reliable information, balancing short and long‑term priorities.

Qualifications
  • 90 days of prior forklift experience and forklift certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Minimum age: 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience.
  • Retail experience.
  • Experience supervising a team.

Additional Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00, with the actual rate equal to or exceeding the required minimum wage for the job location. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply when criteria are met.
