Retail Sales Associate

Position Summary

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and processes sales, loans, and other transactions, working with jewelry, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and general merchandise.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open and close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates effectively to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Willingness and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Willingness to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Ability to assist a customer on the exterior of the premises or retrieve products stored in outdoor areas.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission is proprietary and based on gross profit of personal performance, ranging from 2% to 8%. Detailed information will be provided during the interview process.
