$11.00 to $13.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Performs non-management open and close procedures.
- Maintains sales floor cleanliness and merchandise displays.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Effectively communicates the legal aspects of the pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers using respectful and effective tools.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Completes assigned training successfully.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- Employees may be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed information about the plan will be provided during the interview process.
