Merchandising Lead

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, guiding and supporting members with self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting Sam’s Club products and services.
• Assist management with associate supervision in the assigned area, including assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing guidance on member service approaches.
• Receive, stock, and organize supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, maintain the sales floor, complete paperwork logs, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, disposing of hazardous materials according to company standards, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Ensure sales floor and merchandise presentation meet company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking and arranging merchandise, pricing, identifying shrink and damages, securing fragile and high‑risk items, and maintaining product rotation and sanitation standards.
• Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged according to policy.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, monitoring progress and results, and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, coordinating assignments, providing advice, feedback, and support to meet timelines and work quality, and modeling adaptation to change.

• Hourly wage range: $21.00 – $29.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage).
• Performance‑based bonus awards and other performance incentives.
• Additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific duties.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Six (6) months of retail experience AND six (6) months of customer service experience.

• Leading a team with supervising experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing workload of others.
