Job Overview
Account Executive – Uniforms (Outside Sales)
Responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing sales within assigned territories to achieve quotas in Vestis’s Uniforms Division. The role builds strong customer relationships, conducts presentations, and reports on market activities.
Responsibilities- Identify new prospects and develop a customer base using cold calling and presentations.
- Qualify leads and drive sales opportunities through lead generation campaigns.
- Secure appointments with decision makers and maintain high conversion rates.
- Minimize callback opportunities and maintain funnel ratios.
- Conduct presentations to communicate benefits and build customer relationships.
- Conduct competitive market analysis and capture intelligence.
- Use sales force automation software to manage daily activities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and share sales opportunities.
- Maintain weekly updates on prospecting status to manager.
- Schedule and manage appointments effectively.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
- Operate independently and manage assigned territory.
- Adapt to organizational changes while staying focused on sales goals.
- Incorporate company guiding principles in all customer interactions.
- Define and execute a territory plan to attain sales goals.
- Determine focus areas and make strategic pivot decisions.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Proven experience in developing business and generating leads.
- Problem‑solving and negotiation skills focused on closing sales.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales technology (e.g., Salesforce, Linked In Navigator).
- Ability to collaborate across functions and levels.
- Results‑oriented and detail focused.
- Skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent presentation skills for small and large audiences.
- Continuous learning of industry trends and sales practices.
- Self‑directed organization and time management.
- Experience in field work and managing a territory.
- Adaptability and strong work ethic.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 18–36 months of successful B2B outside sales experience in value‑added solutions.
- Experience with market development concepts (STP, adoption lifecycle).
- Experience with CRM systems;
Salesforce preferred. - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum age 21.
- Track record of B2B sales success (brag book).
- Past President’s Club membership and annual quota attainment.
Valid driver's license.
Physical and Working Requirements- Travel overnight up to 10%.
- Must own and operate a vehicle.
- Position requires majority of time in the field.
- Professional business attire required.
- Ability to perform needs assessment and facility sizing (may involve bending).
- Lift up to 10 lb for sample deployment.
