Produce Sales & Marketing Specialist

Overview

Labatt Food Service seeks a Produce Sales & Marketing Specialist to buy and sell fresh produce through the company’s sales force. The position involves learning all aspects of the produce business, including technical product knowledge from growing regions all over the world, sourcing product from manufacturers and brokers, and selling produce products through sales representatives on a large customer base. The role works directly with the Produce Manager and offers the opportunity to learn an entire business, including separate P&L performance measurement.

• Buy and sell fresh produce through the company’s sales force.
• Source product from manufacturers and brokers.
• Sell produce products through sales representatives to a large customer base.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to grow produce vendor lines.
• Maintain and develop technical product expertise on all produce vendor lines.

• College degree in RHIM, Marketing, or a business-related field (Bachelor’s degree required).
• Food service and/or produce experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact with food service directors, chefs, managers, and owners.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish strongly preferred.
