$11.00 to $13.00 per hour
Commission structure: earn up to 8% on transactions, adding an average of $1.58 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. As a Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate, you will partner with the entire store staff to deliver customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. You will greet, engage, and process sales, loans, and other transactions, assisting with customer inquiries and problem resolution across a wide range of jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and general merchandise.
Responsibilities- Greets and interacts with all customers to build rapport and recommend financial solutions.
- Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
- Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and presents merchandise displays.
- Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Takes cash and negotiable items in line with policies.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, demonstrating respect.
- Partners with all employees to create a memorable customer experience.
- Successfully completes assigned training.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or handle products in exterior storage.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work with people and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in basic math calculations.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Willing to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Detailed information will be provided during the interview process.
Pay rates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
