Resolution Pet Brands is a fast-growing branded pet food and treat company. The Company is currently executing a growth strategy and is seeking a skilled Territory Sales Manager to further develop our Mid-Atlantic territory.
Position SummaryThis position will cover the Mid-Atlantic United States. This area has an established account base. Further developing these existing accounts as well as establishing new business will be an important part of this role.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the existing account base to increase business
- Expand sku placement, shelf presence and off shelf displays
- Increase recommendation through staff trainings and relationship building
- Further develop relationships with the Management and Owners
- Key Account Management
- Attend/work store events for accounts
- Plan and work an effective Call Cycle
- Work to secure key prospects within the territory
- Attend Distributor and Industry Trade shows
- Formulate an effective growth plan for the territory
- Work closely with the distributor sales representatives
- Minimum 2+ years outside sales experience, with a successful track record selling to retail
- Experience with account management
- Strong presentation and selling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Self-starter with strong organizational and Planning skills
- Comfortable with both an independent and team atmosphere
- Pet industry experience is a plus
- Competitive salary and bonus program
