ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is looking for an Operations Research Analyst with at least a DOD Secret clearance to join their team in El Paso, TX. Responsibilities include utilizing various operations research methodologies, working on studies of limited scope, and collaborating with senior leadership on analyses. The selected candidate will also be involved in utilizing Global Force Management processes and other systems to generate assessments on operations.

- Performing professional and scientific work requiring the design, development, and adaptation of mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques to provide advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative courses of action for key decision making
- Performing a range of operations research methodologies to complete studies of limited scope
or portions of larger projects, modifying/adapting techniques to fit situations, some requiring innovative approaches - Working under the guidance of senior leadership, to formulate, plan, and carry to completion
a variety of analyses and or work as a team member on specific problems of major studies - Utilizing Global Force Management process, Command and Control system (C2), Common Operating Picture (COP) monitoring, Common Intel Picture (CIP) monitoring, and other systems of record directed by JTF-N and higher headquarters to generate assessments on JTF-N operations to USNORTHCOM
- Completing projects that involve making modifications to existing applications software, the
analysis of large, complex problems which are characterized by the need of substantial problem analysis and the development of solutions that involve models - Utilizing scientific inquiry in the development of mathematical models and computer
programs to evaluate and predict the ability to support assigned projects, studies, or problems
- This is an onsite Operations Research Analyst position located in El Paso, TX
- 5+ years of work-related experience.
- 1+ year specialized experience applying techniques to problem solve using big data mining, statistical analysis, or other quantitative methods
- Active DOD Secret clearance or higher required. Candidates without a minimum of Secret clearance will not be considered.
- A Bachelor of Science from an accredited institution in mathematics, computer science, one of the physical sciences, engineering or a closely related scientific field, or 9+ years of relevant work experience.
