Job Type: Full time
Responsibilities- Protect life, property, information, and reputation by employing situational awareness
- Monitoring and securing designated entrances/exits
- Observing the flow of employees, patients, physicians, students, vendors, and visitors into the facility; verifying credentials, and providing directions to authorized areas
- Evaluate and respond in a timely manner to events and incidents in accordance with System policies. Provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and physicians
- Respond immediately, or as appropriate, to emergency/unusual situations including disturbances, disruptive individuals, patients, vendors & visitors, fires, and medical emergencies; restraining agitated patients in accordance with facility policy. Prepare and submit all required incident documentation
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of all security orders and regulatory requirements related to assigned duties
- Required: High school graduate or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Required: 2 years in a security role, law enforcement, or military background; or a minimum of 3 years of strong customer service roles with the ability and willingness to learn security practices
- Required: Licensure/certification as required by state law; valid state driver's license; AHA BLS
