Shift: Monday‑Saturday, 5 AM‑7 PM

As an Armored Driver Guard, you work with your team to ensure the safe and secure pickup and delivery of cash, coin, and valuables.

• At least 21 years of age
• At least a 3‑year clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a Medical Examiner’s Certificate through a US Department of Transportation approved physician
• A valid firearms permit or the ability to pass applicable firearms requirements per your state of residence
• Calculation of relevant physical demands (see essential duties below)
• Loomis will pay for security and firearms qualifications, licensing and permitting.

• Full‑time schedule of an average 40‑50 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 days in a 6‑day period; occasional weekend work
• Approximately 90‑95% of the job is performed in an air‑conditioned vehicle, within the driver’s and guard’s individual compartments (front and rear)

As part of the qualification process, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. The evaluation covers the following physical tasks:

• Lift: 25 lbs vertical lift from 10 to 66 in. (1×)
• Lift‑Carry: 18 lbs vertical lift from 1 to 44 in., horizontal transfer 15 ft. (4×); 18 lbs vertical lift from 10 to 36 in., horizontal transfer 30 ft. (1×); 50 lbs vertical lift from 10 to 36 in., horizontal transfer 2 ft. (2×)
• Push‑Pull: Horizontally transfer 47 lbs of force on a sled (single, non‑dominant arm), a distance of 1 ft. (2×)
• Repetitive Coupling: Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lbs in both right & left hands (4×)
• Climb: Ascend/descend a step of heights 16, 21 & 24 in. (10×)
