Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Access Control in El Paso, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, communicate professionally, and report concerns. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and control entry to restricted healthcare areas in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation while protecting confidential information.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
