High School Diploma or GED or higher and two (2) years of experience in the maintenance and repair of analog/digital and industrial control equipment, industrial electronics, test equipment, or computers and peripheral equipment.

Valid Texas Class 'C' Driver's License or equivalent from another state by date of appointment.

• Under general supervision, perform installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system for water and wastewater facilities.
• Install and repair SCADA control systems and equipment.
• Involve:
  Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair flow and metering devices, electronic instrumentation systems, and other related electronic or electromechanical equipment in a water or wastewater treatment plant or distribution remote facilities.
• Involve:
  Troubleshoot malfunctions of computerized control devices, control and instrument loops, instruments for activated sludge systems, water treatment, and the SCADA system.
• Involve:
  Identify parts for replacement, maintenance, and other work required.
• Involve:
  Inspect equipment and systems.
• Involve:
  Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Involve:
  Test and validate results using a variety of test equipment.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Involve:
  Perform duties of coworkers and subordinates as necessary to ensure continuity of operations.

  Maintain the cleanliness of tools, work areas, assigned vehicle, and observe standard operating procedures and safety practices.
